Handicapping for the Away Weekend
Regular handicap calculation (no live handicapping), and the Double Par Rule will still
be in effect for the Weekend Away. Considerable monies are at stake, and your Executive
wants to ensure fairness for all members. This measure will prevent the possibility of anyone
inflating their handicap prior to the event and shooting at a much higher level during the
2-day tournament. This year teams will be formed, anchoring the top and bottom (based on
handicap) and draw for the middle member. These teams will be either 3- or 4-man teams
based on attendance.
TRILLIUM WOOD GOLF CLUB
Magnificently Scenic, the course is characterized by mature trees, large greens, elevated tees,
rolling bent grass fairways, picturesque ponds, and strategically placed bunkers. The
magnificently scenic 18 holes gives one the sense that they have been part of the landscape for
many years.
The par 72 course plays between 4900 and 6700 yards from four tee decks on over 200 acres of
undulating wooded areas and scenic heathland. The course is supported by one of the region’s
premier driving ranges with separate teaching and practice areas.
Perhaps most noteworthy is the sense that virtually every hole is its own separate entity. For
most of the holes, foursomes will be alone, surrounded by awesome stands of fairway trees.

401 Eastbound towards Bellville, Take exit 544 for ON-37/Cannifton Rd toward Tweed. Turn
right (North) onto Cannifton Rd/ON-37 N. Approximately 500m North of Harmony Rd, driveway
entrance is on the left side.

Note: There are only a few single rooms available on a first come first served
basis. The first 28 deposits are guaranteed rooms at Country Inn & Suites by
Radisson.

You pay the league $480 for the weekend away and must be in 6 weeks before event.
Accommodation is paid directly to the hotel.
Shared accommodation cost is $189+ taxes per golfer for the two nights.
Single accommodation cost is $378+ taxes per golfer for the two nights.
Note:
Our first tee time on Friday is 10:30am, Saturday is 10:30am and Sunday is 10:00am.
There will be a 50/50 Draw on all 3 days of the event. Participants will be able to buy in for
$20.00 each day by paying $60 Friday morning.
